| The Conservation System Alliance is a group of more than 60 recreation, conservation and cultural groups with one common goal: to promote and protect the Bureau of Land Management's National Landscape Conservation System. American Hiking Society participates in the steering committee of the Conservation System Alliance in Washington DC, representing the perspective of hikers and protecting the Conservation System's thousands of miles of hiking trails. |
