PROTECT THE CONSERVATION SYSTEM

Volunteer! - American Hiking Society Volunteer Vacations provide opportunities to visit beautiful places, maintain trails and protect natural resources on lands managed by the BLM and other federal agencies. These week-long projects offer something for everyone, and you'll get to see hidden places on some of the best lands managed by the BLM. The following Volunteer Vacations on BLM lands are just a few of the great volunteer trips organized every year. To learn how to give back to ALL of our public lands, go to Volunteer Vacations.

Does your trail group maintain or establish trails on BLM lands? American Hiking Society manages the National Trails Fund (link to the National Trails Fund Page), the only nonprofit hiking trail grants program in America. Last year we distributed more than $40,000 to trail-related organizations who accomplished critical projects with these resources.
